Hearst Newspapers App

About My Work

During my time as a Hearst Summer Associate Intern, I had the ability to learn about and explore all of the different companies within the Hearst Corporation. To end my summer with Hearst, I worked on a group project with other interns. I was able to design a Hearst Newspaper app and present the idea to the Chief Marketing Officer of Hearst Newspapers. I was assisted by the Hearst Creative team for advice and execution. We used Figma and Adobe XD to create the UI/UX.

LSU Scheduling Website

About My Work

During my time at Louisiana State University,  in my Interface Design and Technology I redesigned the LSU scheduling system. Using the usability principles learned in the class, I made this website to ensure that students would have an overall better user experience. In the creation of this project, I surveyed LSU students asking about their current frustrations with the scheduling system. With this information I created personas and scenerios to help identify the user for the prototype that would be made.

Interaction Breakdown Analysis

Over the course of my interface design and technology course I learned the importance of usability principles when it comes to creating products. Using usability principles, I was able to identify, analyze, and articulate usability issues associated with the interface of an iPad.

During my time at Louisiana State University, I was apart of the making of an application that would help commuter students find parking spots faster and easier. This class project allowed me to understand the ins and outs of product management and development. I helped with the usability of the project.
